Tea Time
Dr. Martha and Rosie take a break from shopping to have some tea. Which room and tea set do they like best?
Credits: Vintage 50s German table and food are from my childhood. Chairs are Hello Dolly. The barely visible icebox used as a credenza is Concord. Both tea sets are made in China; I got them today at Treasure Mart, my local consignment wonderland. Purses and red flower vase are Barbie. Callas and wall decor are craft store items. Wallpaper is scrapbook paper. Floor is scrap of leathery cloth from The Scrap Box. Action figures are from Doctor Who.

Good for The Gander
Well, the guys got bored at the mall so they checked out the purses and discovered what women have known for a long time; purses are handy. Each of the guys picked out his favorite, one that matched his outfit, and tried it on.
Here is each one modeling his favorite.
Colossus thinks he still looks tough. And, maybe he could carry his tools in it.

Stephen thinks a color matching his eyes would have been better.
Great color, Sulu. Looks like he could "navigate" an evening out with this purse.
Nick likes the shoulder bag as it is rather large and could hold...maybe a "Primeval" creature or two.
Doctor Who likes this one 'cause it matches his shoes.

Groceries
Colossus and Uhura doin' the weekly grocery thing.
Uhura checks to see if they are staying within their budget. Was the wine too expensive?

Aha, what goes on here? Minkey is in a highchair? Hmmmm!

Small Mall Rats
The whole gang has gone to the mall together. Some may say it's just throwing money around. And, look, someone did. Hey, all the clothes are already gone!
Nick can't believe that someone would actually want to wear shoes like this. The women he knows certainly don't.
Uhura has found a purse big enough for all her stuff and Colossus is givin' up the money.
I found the Barbie Fashion Show Mall (well, most of it) at the Saturday morning Kiwanis sale. It was a steal for two dollars and in good shape except for the missing bits of the mall structure...ok by me. It originally came with a cafe, beauty shop (I thought of Petra and her Friseursalonen when I saw this), an elevator, a shoe store, makeup store and clothing store. The only part of the structure I got is the clothing and shoe display stuff. Everything is from the set except the table, chair, and lamps are AG Minis. See earlier blogs for info on the mall rats.
Rosie tries out some makeup and perfume. Sulu approves.

AND Stephen and Dr. Martha are still canoodling...right there in the mall. PDA

Stephen and Dr. Martha Share a Quiet Moment
Dr. Martha has just met Stephen Hart. Looks like they are getting along pretty well. Then there is that "accidental boob graze."
Dr. Martha is an action figure from Doctor Who and Stephen Hart is from Primeval (two British TV shows I love). I think they look great together. The beer and cheese are re-ment from a big ebay purchase. The picture is of a tile made by Motawi Tileworks in a craft store frame. Wallpaper is scrapbook paper. The "accidental boob graze" is from the movie, "The Holiday." The character played by Jack Black uses that phrase when he accidentally touches the character played by Kate Winslet. I had never heard it before but think it is just hilarious.
